Lower unit interchange range for 115 hp.

Would like to know what year or model and hp. range would interchange with a 1975 V4 evinrude 115 hp.. The lower-unit I have now is not electric-shift, but am not nesissarily looking for that. Appreciate any info, thanks.

I'm pretty sure that's one of the years they used a hydraulically assisted shifter, so your choices will be limited. Go to shop2.evinrude.com and look up your engine. Go to the gearcase diagram for your engine, and then compare it to the years around yours to see when they changed the design.
