Well I bought a 1998 Rinker Festiva 212 Cuddy last weekend, officially entering the world of boating... Boat came with a 5.7 L Mercruiser with Alpha One Outdrive. I am very pleased with it and other than a few things here and there it is a great boat.

I have attached a pic from the family's first day on the boat.

Re: New Boater

Congratulations and welcome to the world of boating! It is like no other!! It's a great family activity.

Where are you from and where will you be boating?

There will always be a "few" things to do on a boat, no matter what age. I just picked up an '08 226 that needs a few things as well.

Enjoy your summer.

Re: New Boater

Thanks. I live in the Memphis, TN Area and plan to put it on Pickwick Lake most of the time, but weekend trips to Lake Kentucky(TN), Reelfoot Lake(TN), Sardis(MS), Percy Priest(TN) and Heber Springs(AR) will definately be in the cards.

Welcome and that looks like a nice Boat and I enjoy every excuse to spend time with our Rinker, tinkering, boating or just pulling it down the road to the next lake.

:)
