1963 Johnson V4AL 15E 75hp lower unit bearing

I had to pull my lower unit. The free standing Pins that circle around the drive shaft fell out. I was wondering if there is a tool to hold the pins in place while i re-insert the drive shaft.
Or whats the easiest way to get all the pins to stay in place while i re-insert the drive shaft?

If you simply removed the lower unit from the exhaust housing, there should be no pins to fall out. Did you also disassemble the lower unit?
