Hi everyone I'm rebuilding a 1986 bayliner 1950 wig a volvo 305 an I plan on removing engine an outdrive tomorrow what exactly does it take other then a cherry picker an motor mount ?

A lot of work disconnecting everything holding it in.

Like what all is there I know throttle cable fuel lines!! But on out drive an such?

Are you removing it all so that you can rebuild the transom and stringers,etc?

Remove the outdrive first. I built a rolling outdrive stand to remove mine. just adjust the height using the trailer jack. disconnect the shift cable, steering helmet pin, disconnect both bellows, drive out the pivot pins and the drive is off.

For the engine, fuel line, electrical, throttle cable, re move the clamping ring from behind the boat, six bolts around where the ujoints fit, unscrew the motor mounts and pull the motor.

Your asking for a lot of explaining, post more specific questions for more specific answers.:)

Yes I am rebuilding the floor an maybe transom! The stringers are good I'm going to re fiberglass them!
