I'm going to paint my 14' fiberglass boat and am looking for a good value on paint without paying for a nightmare. I plan on painting over the old coat and don't know what kind of paint was used before since it is not the original coat. I'm not concerned with a bottom coat since I will only have it in the water a few hours at a time, maybe overnight.
What I would like to know is if anyone has any experience with Hawthorne paints and primers?
