Tach wire color codes

I need to hook my Flowscan up to a 12 volt to the (key on wire) or to the (tech key on wire) it is easier to get to the tach than the key switch - does anyone know which wire at the back of the tach is the key on wire? Info on my motor: 2002 225 FS Yamaha / gauges are mutli use.

Every gauge on the dash except the speedometer has a +12 volt, ground, sender and light wire. You can tap into the ground (indicated by a minus sign or a ground symbol) and +12 volts (indicated by a plus symbol or an "I" for ignition). The send terminal is marked with an "S" and the light terminal is marked with an "L". Simple process of observation and/or elimination.
