Fuel / Water filter separator ?

Hi, i'm thinking of adding a fuel/water filter separator for my 2011 Honda BF25 (carburetors...3) , will this put a strain on the fuel pump or the carburetors...?

P.S. i don't know what Honda has but i saw in a catalogue a Yamaha Mini 10 micron...any opinions ?
