1970 sears 5hp shut off when warm,i think i found the problem

my sears motor was shuting off when it got warm and i was told to check the crank shaft bearing so i pulled the motor apart and found the piston was missing a chunk out of the lower end and was justed cracked ont the ajacent end also there are a few blemished on the cylender walls not to bad but i dont know what is to bad to let bye,so if anyone thinks this was my problem let me know and also is it worthe fixing,i got the motor for free

well the engine is junk, you might find a deal on ebay for a engine....I have a good sound AV 750 7hp engine laying around but its a solid state model, I have seen 5hp piston and rod on ebay too,
Your engine model should be 643-15
