225HP Fuel line size ?

New purchase of old boat with 225 HP mid 80s Mercury 225 HP 2stroke

What size fuel line? It has 5/16 which I would think is insuffcient.

My 115 Yamaha i rigged with a half inch line

A half inch line???WOW!! 5/16 is way more than sufficient. I run 1/4 in on twin 85/s and it works fine.
These motors don't need that much flow.J

I would have 3/8" all the way to the motor and what ever is on the motor probably 5/16" all the way to the carbs.
