Volvo Penta 4.3 Won't Start After Warming

I have a 2006 Four Winns Horizon 190 that starts just great. But after I stop the engine to let the tubers in the boat and then try to start agin the engine will barely start and then stall. The only way to get th eengine to start for the rest of the day is to give it gas or let it cool all the way down. Any ideas of what I can do to fix this?

Someone will need what year and full model number of your engine to help. Some possible causes could be a bad or improperly adjusted choke or the floats in the carb if not fuel injected.
