quicksilver part # 23-806036A1, 2 brass bushings and 2 black rubber seals, unsure of how the seals install,tapped the old corroded seals out. Lip of seal (open end with stainless steel spring) which way do they go in under the brass bushing? Thanks
Let me clarify what I am describing. Shift shaft that connects to shift lever in bellhousing. The seals are installed into the housing on top side of exhaust passage. My question is which way do the seals go in, lip up or lip down, lip side of seal meaning( stainless steel spring ) ? Thanks
