what way should the starter spin clockwise/anticlockwise
as it was dismantled without being marked :eek: like to be sure before reassembly
thanks in advance

Flywheel shoud spin CW. So starter spins CCW. If it is a permanent magnet starter, and it spins the wrong way, flip the magnet over.
