Power head swap PLEASE HELLP!

Hey guys,
brand new to this sight but it looks like theres alot of good info here so i thought id give it a wherrll. Im about to swap 2 power heads 1 is a 2000 115. fitch 20" other is a 2000 115 fitch RAM on a 25" boulth evys obv. I looked threw the forum and got around 15 pages into the search with no goods hopeing someone may know of a write up on removing a power head or something that could help me out. Would really appreciat any pointers tips exct.

Sounds like you need a OMC Service manual. You should drop the gearcase first. Then there is lots of stuff to disconnect (bolts, wires, fuel and vacuum lines), before you can raise the powerhead. First see if the motor has lifting eyes on the block. I would think it should.
