Guys all of you have been great so far to work with. You have all been great for helping me get my engine running. <br /><br />The new motor ran great didn't run hot great, gets up and go. Need to work on carb and prop. 18' chapparral 165 6 got 38 mph out of it with while only getting 3500 rpm. Think it is the carberation or maybe the prop. I am running a 17 pitch prop, I have a 15 pitch I'm going to put on it and see what it does. I guessing I will get the 4300 and keep the same speed. Ran great other than the 2bl still boging on start. I rebuilt the carb but it was really gummed up and trahsed out. didn't expect it to run to good even after the rebuild. Going to put on a 4bl and see how it works.
