4.3L 4 BBL intake

Hello all. I have a 1995 4.3L 2 bbl Holley. I want to put a 4 BBL intake and carb on it. It has the 12 bolt manifold with the balance shaft. Will an aftermarket intake from Edelbrock work with the balance shaft. Thanks for the info.

Yes model number 2111 non vortec...The 2114 is a vortec style manifold

Based on the powerful Edelbrock #2111, this dual-plane intake is designed for the engine swap market utilizing 1985 & later Chevy 200-229-262 c.i.d. (3.8L and 4.3L) V6 engines with Vortec heads. With this new manifold, rodders can take advantage of the higher flow available with the Vortec head design. Performer Vortec V6 #2114 has provisions for external water bypass and may be used on either Vortec blocks or 1995 and earlier blocks. Designed for use with Edelbrock Performer Series 500 cfm carbs, it accepts late model waterneck, alternator, HEI and air conditioning.

Will it clear the balance shaft? Some say it will hit. Any ideas. Thanks, Mark

Don't waste your time and money.
Lots of posts on here of people who have converted to a 4 bbl and never noticed a noticeable difference after the conversion.

Ayuh,... Michigan Motors has the cast iron intakes for under $200....

You can expect about 20/ 25hp from the swap...
