So as not to hijack the chicken thread I thought I would ask the question,
"How much money can you make off of a 4 acre hobby farm"

This is not bottom land but a combo of flat and 45' side hill (75 to 30)

Livestock?
Garlic, grapes for the wine industry, fruit trees?

Great early morning sun,

We are in a snow belt and springs not quite here yet, this year
(snowed 2 inches last night, should be gone by this afternoon)

Thanks
Rob

Re: Hobby farm????

Tomatoes, pepper's, corn, squash, pumpkins I helped my neighbor sell veggies and corn last summer and the business was great.

It is unfortunate that soft fruits and veggies do not do good as I do not get the long seasonal heat, I need a green house. (2500 foot elevation)
(Wish I could grow them like in SS mayfloats garden)
Berries would do good, as my picking season would be off set to the early berries picked (1-1.5 months)
Strawberries, rasberries, huckleberries, blueberries ETC
