Would my evinrude 3 wire rectifier work on my Simplicty tractor?

They both have 2 yellow wires and a wire from the ignition? Anyone know it it would work as they want 110 bucks for one?

If that tractor is a 12 volt setup, personally I'd stick it on there.

If your tractor has a magneto type ignition system, I'd just buy a cheap battery charger to keep the battery charged for starting.
