I have a 1999 4.3 Mercruiser that I have had for 5 years now. I have been extremely lucky with the engine and now things are starting to need more paying attention to. I have water leaking from the engine where the engine mount attaches to the boat and the motor. It is coming from underneath the mount where a bolt is located. Unable to determine the source with a mirror and a flashlight. Hoping the engine does not have to be removed to make a 100% location of the leak. Any suggestions?

Ayuh,... From your discription, it sounds like a coreplug pushed out from improper winterization,...
Or, a cracked block...

Grab a digital camera, 'n pop off abunch of pictures to find EXACTLY where it's leakin'....

core plugs pop from a failure to winterize properly.

I would remove seats or whatever you can to get a good look down there. Could be a hose... there are some running down low there at the mount. Otherwise, freeze plug or block, engine's prolly coming out :(
