Hello,
Today after I had the boat back on the trailer, I raised the motor up to put on the transom saver. I got side tracked for about 15 minutes, when I returned the motor was down all the way. I noticed earlier when I hit reverse the motor raises. But in forward at 3/4 to wot she stays down. What could cause this to happen, and how do I fix it? We are going camping in Maryland in 2 weeks, and I need to get it fixed before then.

Thanks,
Tom

Re: Tilt/Trim creep

It's your valve body. I would not trust the chinese product on a 150HP. I would rebuild your existing one. If your trim motor shows any rust around top bolts or side seals then you may want to consider doing it at same time. It takes about 30-40 minutes to get pump assy off boat. may as well only do it once if your motor has red flags.
