Greetings, after scouring threads and posts i joined on this forum hoping for some advice, (not new to forums but new to the site-love it.)
- As stated My parts arrived and i started my Weekend Project. I Removed my 94 alpha one GenII while in neutral (i think). I have the seloc book, drained the drive checked hardware etc and rechecked. The drive came right off without any issues, and I put it on a wooden stand. I am going to replace all the bellows with the gimbal and boot kit. However I after the removal and cleaning up my workspace, I noticed that my accelerator stick was in neutral. Im not sure if i bumped it or my father who was helping me at the time, My question is what issues may i have as a result of this? the shift shaft looks ok and again i did not forcefully yank the drive off. if all were to be ok, do i just put it in FWD and engage it into fwd gear on the alpha? please advise, thank you and god bless. J.W.

Hi and welcome to iBoats,

First and foremost, BIN THE Seloc!!! Hateful manuals. Full of mis-information. Download the manual for your drive HERE. The correct manual is #14. While there, download the manual for your engine too....

Put the shift into forward, put the drive into forward and put it all back together, then test it for correct shifting....

Cheers,

Chris......
