TRIM Issues

Hello,

my 1989 85 ho force has a trim issue. the trim works well up and down no problem when not in the water. it doesn't leak down either when it is left over night. the issue is when it is in forward position it won't lift up all the way. what might cause this

it is not supposed to lift more than 13 degrees or so when the prop is spinning. if that's not high enough then you may have a worn out a spot in your hull.

what do you mean by a worn out spot on the hull???? sometimes it will allow me to lift it up and other times it wont. if the motor is up and i out it in gear, it automatically goes down is this normal?
