What year / model is my 50 HP VRO S/N A0611326

This number was on a core plug on the top of the block, the ID plate has been removed.

If possible I'm after the year, model and if its short or long shaft

that wont help us at all... how about a picture or try and find the other welch plug... i know many motors had two and one usually had the model number, while the other had the serial number

You may want to try BRP customer service at 1-847-689-7090 with that s/n. They may be able to help you.
