Is there some way to convert this engine so you do not have to operate the timing advance manually when you turn the the tiller handle? Working on a project and want to be able to throttle the engine up and do away with all of those moving parts that advance the timing. Right now it's just a little to stiff.
Thanks

The schamatics looked the same as the original to me other than the tiller handle was not shown on the 7.5J

Item #35 and 36 are a throttle arm and cable retaining screw that are not on a stock engine. Carb link

Items #15 to 23 are the parts needed to fix the stator plate at max spark advance for timing purposes. Ign link.

You will also need to install a full throttle butterfly
