my 91 6hp evinrude runs good in nuetral, but when I put in gear it stalls. I cleaned out carb sort by blowing it out with air, what could the problem be? I adj. the mixture screw where it runs as smooth as poss.
Run some seafoam mixed in with the gas. Than let the motor sit for a few hours than run it again and see if anything changes. Stalling is usually from a gummed up carb. or take it apart and make sure that the small ports and jets are open.
