I have a cabin on the lake rented in July at Douglas Lake. Any experience or tips with Douglas Lake?

Most of my time on Douglas has been spent within a mile or 2 from the i-40 bridge near Swann's Marina. Douglas doesn't get nearly as crowded as other nearby lakes. Beautiful sunsets! There's alot to do within a short car ride up to pigeon forge area.

Sure I live on Douglas lake and it is where I boat. The launch at the damn gets really crowded on the weekends and the fishing is going to be very slow in July. Still fun for skiing and tubing.
