I have a nice 1976 17' Tri hull, yet the floor was soft. I am new and glad to handle this task so i removed the top off the bottom halve of the boat. so its a rebuild complete and transom. My question is the 11 ft stringers have no support across the boats width.Should I make it crossed beams? All PT of course. :)

PT isn't what you want for a boat. Once properly sealed, the wood or plywood is fine. PT is just extra weight, it never really dries, and it reacts poorly with aluminum (don't know if that applies to your situation), but you don't need to use PT. I thought the same way you are, at first, just seems to make sense. After much research and questions on this forum, I learned that PT really has no place on a boat.

Wow, who have you talked to on here. I'm not a fan of Pressure Treated either, but plenty here use it as well as many manufactuers. (ask Ondarvr). Now for aluminum, most will agree.
