I have recently rebuilt a 1969 Mercury 100hp (1000ss) and I am trying to set the timing. I have set the max advance timing to 36.5 degrees BTDC. After that, I'm a bit confused on how to set the primary and secondary pickup timining. If anyone has any words of wisdom on this topic, please let me know.
