Hello all,

Ive got a 86 force 125 outboard which needs new lower unit seals. I took it apart last year to replace the shift yoke and when I put it back together It never ran at full power and leaked gear oil. After sitting for a winter the case is blue from oil leaking out around the prop and yoke pin. My guess is it needs new seals to get it back up to speed. Does anybody know the part number of a seal kit or where I can order it from?

Thanks!

No reason the lower unit seals would keep you from running full speed.Do a compression/spark test.
Then look at the fuel system.
iboats has the parts.FK1063-2 Force part seal kit.

Thanks for the info. I had this problem once before and it led back to the lower unit. For some reason when something is wrong down there it will not go full speed. The power head is running great but I do know I need to clean the carbs and probably replace the fuel filter. Any idea on where I could get one of those too?

Thanks again!
