my 25hp evinrude mod e25teleda fires on one cylinder, its random.pulled bottom plug wire and it still run the same then it started running normal then back again has happened every time i go out.
could have bad connection in your plug wires; its happened to me. I cut off about 1/4 inch off under the boot and put coil spike back in and had no more problems. Good luck.
Could also be one of the coils loosing it's ground. Each coil has two bolts to secure it to the block. One of the bolt holes has a grounding plate on the back side of the bolt hole. The plate on that bolt hole, and the coil boss mount, must be clean, free of oil and tight. The coil bolts should be torqued to the proper tightness.
