Hey there everyone,

I am upgrading my wellcraft to be properly powered, but have no clue as to what pitch prop I should throw on. Last fall I had an 11" pitch prop running on my 888 (ford 302) which made 188hp, mated to a 1.3 ratio drive with a boat weighing in the 4k pound range. rpms never achieved more than 3200 with a speed of 32. This year I am throwing in the proper engine, 233 (351) but it has a 4 barrel carb, so which means it should be running 255hp along with edelbrock intake and electronic ignition. Which will be mated to my 1.3 ratio 233 drive. Any ideas as to what prop size I should get? I'm looking for mostly top end power (am hoping to get 50-60mph out of this boat?) and dont mind a little slow acceleration, just as long as I have enough lower end to make it through the 3-4 foot wakes in Erie for my Pelee Island trip later this year.

Thanks as always!
