Hey guys, I have tried to figure this out and I think that my power pack is bad, but do I have to replace the whole power pack or is there one for each side or only one. I have good spark on the starboard side and it will run on those 3 cylinders, but only at an idle on just past. What do I do???

2 switchbox's. But it is good practice to replace both.

Like sparkie said, it could be switchbox, or it could be stator, or (believe it or not) it could be the other switchbox.

1. Remove the bias jumper between the switchboxes and try it.
>>> Change >> the "good" switchbox is bad.
>>> No Change
2. Swap the two stator wires between the switchboxes. Red for red/w, and blue for blue/w.
>>> Change >> Stator is bad
>>> No change >>
3. Swap one pair of coils from port to starboard.
>>> No change >>switchbox is bad.
>>> change >> at least one coil is bad.

hope it helps

Thanks John, I need all the help I can get, but I may still need to take it to someone but I'll try this first.
Thanks again
Bob
