Hi,
I have a 1987 48hp Evinrude Special. I was wondering, should I be torquing the prop nut to a specific torque...in other words, by using a regular socket wrench, could I mess up the prop and lower unit...do I need to torque it to a certain # lbs, etc., and therefore have to buy some kind of torque meter? Thanks.
