ok so i have a omc 305 with a gm block so the thing is i already but in a new head gasket and i got the timing not dead on but on enough to start the motor now i want to start the motor but keep it running cuz as soon as the motor is running and i let the small starter wire go the motor dies but if i keep it on the motor stays running but also does the start so i am lost..... so my ? is how to i start the motor on the floor and keep it running and if anyone has a wire page for a 1988 omc 305/350 motor with the points system?????
