volvo penta 270 shift cable

I have a volvo penta 270 with a bad shift cable. I looked in the iboats store and found the teleflex universal type cables. The ppicture lookks generic to me i was just wondering if anyone has used these or know if they will work

That is the ends you want on the cable, but you probably don't want to use the Xtreme cables as they are bigger in diameter and may not work in the drive or the throttle/shift control.

The Morse 33c Supreme Control Cables work perfectly, and what Volvo uses.
