Is 25 knots ok for 35 HP?

Today I put my 12ft Picton Sprint in the drink to test her water worthiness. She is powered by a 1998 3 cylinder Johnson 35hp outboard. I managed to squeeze 25 knots out of her (bearing in mind that I am well over 100kg in weight!).

Is this an acceptable speed for a 35hp?

Not sure, no tachmeter, but guess around 5000
