wont jump 1/2 gap?

Where should I start testing? I get power to starter so motor will crank. I did notice with a probe that the #3 #4 #5 #6 posts are weak That would be Grey,Red,Red,and Red Grey Stripe.:confused:

The ignition systerm is self contained such as a magnetor system. It does not require, nor should any battery voltage ever be applied to the powerpack or ignition syatem components.

Remove spark plugs when testing for spark. Disconnect large RED electrical plug at engine.

Crank engine by using a small jumper from the battery cable terminal of the starter solenoid to the small 3/8" nut of the solenoid that engerizes the solenoid.

If you now have proper spark, replace the ignition switch.

Removed all spark plugs, unplugged RED electrical plug, cranked engine with jumper, still no spark.

If engine is cranking over at a normal starting/cranking rpm, the usual cause is a failed powerpack.
