I have a 2000 lowe 1652 VPT with a 40 hp johnson outboard, model #J40PLSSM. We havent used it in a few years and the steering has locked up. I am guessing the steering cable ram that you are supposed to lubricate with grease has corroded. Does anyone know the manufacturer for this steering system and where I can order a replacement kit online. Thanks for your help.
