I have a 1989 omc 350 King Cobra I installed A sierra electronic ignition upgrade the Instructions said to install two diodes in the gray wire coming from the neg side of the coil to the shift Assist module also two resistors <br />I install everything excataly the way the instructions said ( the diodes and resistors are for use when you have an ESA module)When I shift into foward gear it seems a Little noisy but it shifts easy in both forward and reverse Any info on this subject would be very helpful
