I am new here so I hope I am posting in the correct area
I have a 1991 Evinrude outboard. I had an issue with the fuel pump leaking but I bought and replaced that. The engine will start and run but while running it coughs then a puff of smoke from the exhaust comes out. I thought it might be bad plugs or fouled plugs so I replaced them. They were solid black after replacing them the engine does the same thing and if I recheck the plugs they are fouled again. I appreciate the help in advance
