hi everyone hope someone can help me. i am having trouble with my boat when it warms up. it starts to run rough barely idling after it ran good for about an hour. i dont see a ballist res. but it does have a purple and yellow wire and a solid purple coming from the pos. of the coil.i was hoping someone could tell me if the solid purple is a resistor wire it goes into the harness and looks like it goes to the ignition but im lost with this thing.every time the mechanic looks at it its cold and runs good and doesnt have time to look at it when its hot. i almost forgot its a 1990 wellscraft with a 3.0 4cyl merc 130/140 hp thanks for any help
