Having trouble with sea king motor. It ran fine back in october. It sounds like it's not firing on both cylinders. Spark plugs look ok, but have a little carbon on them. I took it out the other day and eye-balled the oil mixture. (24 to 1) Maybe I added too much oil. I put some stabil in it last October. Anyways, I'm removing the tank and gas line. Gonna clean both. Fill back up with new gas/oil. Was thinking about blowing the carb with compressed air. ???
Newbie needing help. Suggestions are VERY WELCOME! What other trouble shooting can I do? It supposedly had a new ignition, water pump, and seal kit put in it when I bought it last summer.
It will get going now and die out after I get going. It doesn't purrrr anymore. Now it goes "uhhhh, uhhhhhhhh,uhhhhh,uhhhhhh,uhhhhhhh. Now better way to explain it. Where should I have my low and high speed carb settings at?
