I have a 2000 Ranger Cherokee, 17ft bass boat. My inline glass fuel filter is showing black flakes/debris which I believe are coming from the original fuel hose. I want to replace the entire hose from the tank to the motor connection.

Waiting for Ranger tech services to identify the best way to get to the tank connection. I also need to identify the fuel hose I'll need to complete this project. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Much

I would go with the Goodyear or Parker hoses... Preference is the good year hose... it is much thicker than the PVC hoses out of China.
However, the black specs are probably more likely due to the primer bulb. The PVC bulbs were notorious for hardening up and flaking off because of the ethanol interaction. Luckily, with the new low perm regulations, this type of problem should go away. The issue is cost... expect to pay over 20$ for the new low perm bulbs..
