does anyone know if you can adjust the steering so that it isnt so loose?when i tilt my motor up it falls over

Not that I'm aware of. A bungee cord through the steering wheel and something stationary always did the trick for me (before I bought a transom saver which was nice upgrade and solved the flopping over problem).

mine still flops a little with the transom saver but nowhere near as bad as the old one with-out
