Replacing Old Volvo Trim Pump Model with Newer Model?

I'm in the process of replacing the old volvo penta trim pump part 3858069, which supersedes to new part 3587079. Anyone with experience making this switch?

The new part has 2-wire and 3-wire connections, while the previous part had separate green/white, 2 red/purple, blue/white, and black wire connections. I'm assuming it's possible to connect these into the new connection plugs?

The way I did it was to add 2 relay switches. Ill see if I can find the wiring diagrams I used.

Need some further information, Both of those numbers are for only an electric motor. What model outdrive is this for?
