i have a 2002 50hp 4 stk outboard. my impeller is fine, i cleared all the water inlets and outlets and took out thermastat. i am still not getting water to the engine..please help
Either there is an issue with the impeller or related pump parts, you missed the water tube alignment when reinstalling the lower unit, or the water tube is restricted at the adapter plate. Drop the lower unit and check the pump. With a LIGHT amount of water or compressed air, blow up the water tube, and verify that either is exiting through the thermostat housing.
