Does anyone have experience with a remanufactured engine in the SW Ontario region? I've looked into Aero-Hill, Marine Manifold, Crosstown Engines, Factory Engine Exchange and Rapido in Florida but the prices vary by up to $1200. How can I be certain they're rebuilding a marine engine and not just repainting an engine out of a Chevy Astro van?

I see from your profile that you are a Claims Adjuster so not sure if this engine is for you or a customer.

Thanks Marc c, I wondered why I could never find my thread. Maybe I'll repost in the proper forum. I'm not totally liking the new forum layout.

I ended up using Factory Engine Exchange in Mississauga Ontario. Competitive pricing, great after sales service, great crate packaging and flawless operation. Just plug-n-play.
