I have an '05 Trophy 1902 WA. I want to mount a 2007 Merc 8 hp 4 stroke for trolling/backup. This boat has a swim step integrated into the transom. Wondering what mount would work best, a stationary horizontal mount or a spring assist mount that mounts on the vertical part of the transom. Anybody out there already mount a kicker on a 1902 or 1952? Thanks in advance.
