I am new on here and about to begin a restoration/modification of a 1975 Ouachita 14' Aluminum flat bottom jon boat.
The HIN is XMR 46938 M75 C
I have never seen a boat with sides this thick and filled with foam it is almost unsinkable. I would like to know what the boat would have looked like straight from the manufacturer as a few additions have been made to it prior to me receiving it.
1) an aluminum non insulated self filling livewell was added between the two seats
2) numerous bolts/eyehooks have been added to the top of the side rails for an unknown reason.
I am also interested in knowing of any modifications that have been or could be done to this style of boat.
