I've got a 1992 Sea Nymph SS 175 Fish and Ski that I plan on replacing the transom on in the coming weeks. Once I've got the motors yanked I am pretty confident in doing the work required. Just curious if anyone has done a replacement on this model or another Sea Nymph and if they ran into any weird problems. Looks pretty straight forward but just thought I would check. Thanks!

Re: Sea Nymph Transom Replacement

Pretty straightforward normally. Check out some of the Starcraft restorations since they are nearly identical to Sea Nymph, and there are tons of SC projects on the site here.

Just make sure to seal the wood with epoxy so it doesn't rot, and don't use pressure-treated plywood as it eats away aluminum.
