Mercruiser Alpha One Gen2 Trim ram question

Before storing my boat last year, I removed the outdrive, and tied the rams up. When I pulled the boat out of storage today, I noticed the port side ram is extended, and the starboard is fully in. Is this normal? I checked the system in the fall, and the oil looked great, no water in it. Do they naturally move while sitting? Thanks in advance for any help.

weird, eh.... they like to do that.
I think sometimes the sun hits one and the temp difference causes the movement.

I agree, its normal. If you were to run the rams without the drive on you will see that they move at different rates also...
